Kerala State Sericulture Co-operative Federation Ltd. (Serifed) chairman Victor T. Thomas has said that the State's sericulture sector has recorded substantial growth in mulberry cultivation and cocoon production over the years.
The Kerala State Sericulture Co-Operative Federation Limited (SERIFED) will open the first cocoon market in the state at Palakkad on Friday to help farmers get reasonable price for their products, SERIFED Chairman Victor T. Thomas said on Thursday.
