Opposing any type of trial-runs of genetically modified seeds in the state, the CPI(M) led LDF government in Kerala has asked the Centre to declare the State as 'G M free' State in the country.
Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan today described as misleading reports that he was opposed to the Centre taking over the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) here to convert it into a centre of excellence.
